What better way to kick off our month of behind the scenes exploration than with the UK’s most iconically British brand, Burberry, as it unveils The Britain, a watch collection paying tribute to 156 years of Burberry history, heritage and craftsmanship.

Taking inspiration from its famous trench coat, the collection of men and women’s watches embodies the precision, detail and quality the company is renowned for. Particular attention has been paid to the how each watch is pieced together and ensuring it works in seamless harmony.

The core design of The Britain features a rounded octagonal shape, with custom industrial-like bolts on steel. Meanwhile the simple dial and transparent back showcase the splendid engineering of the Swiss made self-winding mechanical components.

Each watch is anti-reflective, while the sapphire crystal case is shock and scratch resistant. Various colour and finish options for the face, hands and straps sensitively reflect Burberry’s palette and sophisticated style.
Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s chief creative officer, said: “The Britain is this powerful balance of modernity and tradition, mixing strong attitude and innovative design with craftsmanship and timeless quality.
Well known for its innovative use of digital marketing, Burberry is yet again leading the way with specially created mobile content for the the launch of The Britain collection. The mobile experience includes specialised content, interactive elements and a full on-screen 3D scale model.
